Keep The Faye

As a child growing up on a dairy farm, milking cows, baling hay, picking rocks, weeding, feeding chickens, more milking cows, piano lessons, chopping thistles, milking cows, and repeat, I developed into a surprisingly driven person with a somewhat twisted sense of humor. In order to understand my life I needed to dissect it and art seemed the most bloodless way to do it. I have a BFA in printmaking from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and an MA in lithography from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. My main medium is stone lithography. I also do silkscreen. I am currently a co-op member at Highpoint Center for Printmaking. I have been the recipient of a Bush Foundation Fellowship, a Minnesota State Arts Board grant and a WARM/Landmark Print Project grant and have exhibited at the MAEP Gallery in the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. My work is in the collections of: Minneapolis Institute of Arts Walker Art Center Minnesota State Historical Society Minnesota Museum of American Art Carlton College Plains Art Museum Princeton Rare Book Collection
